Anita Sarkeesian is a Canadian-American feminist media critic and public speaker. She founded Feminist Frequency which is a website which features video and posts analyzing the portrayals of females in pop culture. Anita Sarkeesian has been a journalist, critic, and award-winning feminist for more than a decade. Feminist Frequency an online platform for education that examines the role of women in pop culture, is managed by Sarkeesian. Dispelling stereotypes of women is her primary goals.
