Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actor, playback vocalist and musician, who is most often in Tamil as well as Malayalam film productions in the language. Her acting debut came in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam debut with Annayum is in the film. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer with the Madras High Court. Andrea is the youngest daughter of a research assistant who lives in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born near Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a with classical piano classes at the age of eight years old, was identified as being a "geek" as she aspired become a psychiatric until her 12th grade board exam. She performed in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. This ensemble shaped the foundation for her music and singing career. At her college, she was also an artist in the theater and participated in a variety of stage shows put on through The Madras Players. Andrea was head of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her career in theatre by appearing in Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. Andrea was in a new Leo commercial for coffee alongside actor Shiva in the year 2006. The actress was also part of the series which was broadcast on Podhigai. Her roles have been seen in India. The brief appearance was in Kanda Mudhal's film's climax (2005). She sang in a song to Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. He asked her to play one of the female lead characters in Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani which is a wife and mother to a man with whom she has a love affair. Andrea got the role because actors Simran Shubana, and Tabu were invited to audition for the film. The movie was announced in the early part of the year 2010. She agreed in 2011 to take on a small acting role as a support in Venkatprabhu's film Mankatha and it was released in August 2011, In 2013 she began her career in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's love story Annayum Rasoolum.
