Lisa Edelstein, an American actor best well-known for House which is a Fox medical drama. At the age of 18 in the year she moved to New York City from Wayne which was where she was affixed to strict Jewish tradition. She was very active in the club scene in the city of New York, and did enough to be noticed by the media. In the meantime she began to become conscious of AIDS' devastating effects. She utilised both her training in music and fame to create and star in a musical of her own, Positive Me. Her first gig was on MTV as host of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. After the show ended the show, she began appearing on the film and television industry, initially in smaller roles, and slowly established her place as an actor.
